We recently (Nov 2012) visited the Beaux Arts gallery in Cork Street, because they had an exhibition of works by St Ives artists. This included Terry Frost, Patrick Heron, Wilhelmina Barns Graham, Peter Lanyon and Sandra Blow. There was also work by a St Just artist (now dead) who we didn't know - Paul Mount. His work was mainly sculpture, but we liked his paintings - see below.

We were saddened to see that of the 20 galleries in Cork Street, 11 are under imminent threat from two redevelopments to create flats for the nouveau riche of China and Russia.
